“AMAZING GARDEN” PLANT EXPLORATORIUM

Plants from around the world are represented inside the Amazing Garden Plant Exploratorium.
The “Amazing Garden” Plant Exploratorium is a Plant Science Center/Greenhouse at the BCBGNP property.
It is designed to be an innovative educational facility integrating literature, math, music, art & science to offer plant and environmental education for children and adults.
This facility will be used by multi-county educators to enhance their curriculum to help meet the Ohio Academic Standards, and will also be open to the public.
Plans are to open this facility to the public in the Spring of 2010.
Project Goals:
- To offer a hands-on learning experience in a magical, thought-provoking environment.
- Use plants, interactive displays, innovative equipment, music and art to teach science academic content standards.
- Engage people in discovering the wonderful world of plants, science, the environment & their connection with people.
- Make available the facility for other organizations educational uses, such as; GLOBE, OSU Master Gardener's, 4-H Jr. Master Gardener's, Garden Clubs, etc.
- Horticulture research, test plants
