This will be a public garden
Beech Creek Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve will be designed for the enjoyment and education of all visitors.

The preservation and conservation of land,
    plants
and wildlife habitats.


Preserve stream-side forests and scarce natural resources.

Create opportunities for children to learn about plants, gardening & the environment.

Provide a resource center and reference library.

Establish programs to share horticulture with the elderly and disabled.

Enhance eco-tourism and economic development related to outdoor recreation.

Increase environmental awareness.

Offer programs on nutrition and horticultural therapy.

Conduct valuable testing & research of growing methods.

Develop community gardens, where families can grow their own food.

Create a beautiful setting for public enjoyment, special events and cultural activities.
