Beech Creek
FAQ's...
How will our garden grow?
The Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve is growing with the support and dedication of an active board, members of the association and community leaders. We are currently working with a professional landscape architect firm in developing a master plan. This master plan will serve as a blueprint for the design and planting of the gardens, construction o f buildings, and a phasing plan with real costs.

How much will the gardens cost to build?
We will have a good estimate once the master plan has been completed. However, we do know it will be in the millions. Keep in mind the development plans will be split up into several phases with each phase taking 3-5 years to complete.

How are the funds being raised?
With the master plan in hand, we will start a capital campaign in which businesses, foundations and community leaders will be called upon to make this growing landmark a reality. We will apply for any state and federal grants available. We will continue pursuing community fundraising through individual memberships, group support and special events.

When will the gardens be completed?
A garden project of this size will have to open in phases and may take many years to bring to fulfillment. Phase one will take 3-5 years to complete. More details will be available once our master plan has been developed. However, there are preliminary plans being drawn for opening woodland trails as soon as possible.
