Beech Creek Butterfly House & Gardens - A Wonderful Success!!
HOURS OF OPERATION

Hours: Wednesday thru Saturday ~ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

A dedication ceremony was held on Sunday July 27, 2008 and was well-attended
by many members of surrounding communities such as Louisville, Alliance, Hartville
Canton, and Stow. Visitors included local community leaders, members of the press,
individuals, and families. There was something wonderful for everyone to see, hear,
touch, and smell.

Celebrating Native Ohio Plants - Book Debut

The BGA has been working to create a book highlighting many native plants
of Ohio. This book is being funded by the Ohio EPA, Ohio Environmental
Education Fund, and is part of our UPSIDE Ohio Project.
Come join us to celebrate the book debut. This event will also include:
(a) Plant Sale, focusing on native Ohio plants
(b) Guided nature walks;
(c) Native Ohio Plant presentation by Professor Charles McClaugherty

Wildflower Walks at Beeck Creek

Join us for a stroll along the Fern Ridge Trail and enjoy natures' bouquet.
Meet volunteer naturalist Jim Nero in the parking lot for an informative nature
hike. The trail can be muddy at times, so wear appropriate footwear. The walk
from the parking lot and back, including the trail loop,is about 1.5 miles.
However for a shorter half mile walk, you can go to the bridge and back.

One entry per category per person.
Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners.
